The Triple Aim is a framework developed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement that describes an approach to optimizing health system performance. SafeGait® solutions are an innovative and patient centered therapeutic solution for rehabilitation that are built upon Gorbel’s mission of improving people’s lives. Gorbel Inc. is proud to have received approval from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement to refer to SafeGait® solutions as products that align with the goals of healthcare improvement as outlined by the three arms of the Triple Aim.

It is IHI’s belief that new designs must be developed to simultaneously pursue three dimensions, which we call the “Triple Aim”:
  • Improving the patient experience of care (including quality and satisfaction)
  • Improving the health of populations
  • Reducing the per capita cost of health care
Aligning with IHI's Three Dimensions

Experience of Care

Patient testimonials and clinical results have demonstrated that SafeGait® Solutions supports a faster recovery by enabling more challenging treatments and enhancing patient confidence throughout the recovery process.

Population Health

Community based fall prevention programs have proven effective in reducing falls upward of 35% among older adults. SafeGait® facilitates the creation of advanced fall prevention clinics, offering a safe environment for at-risk individuals to strengthen muscles and reactive balance techniques.*

Per Capita Cost

SafeGait® reduces per capita expenditure by allowing for a 1:1 clinician to patient relationship during a therapy session. This frees up resources and allows multiple therapist to see more patients.
